La octava conferencia anual de ESPO se celebrará los días 5 y 6 de mayo en Limassol





Los próximos 5 a 6 de mayo en el Hotel Four Seasons de Limassol será el anfitrión de la octava conferencia anual de la European Sea Ports Organisation (ESPO), organizado por los puertos europeos, en cooperación con la Autoridad Portuaria de Chipre.

La reunión de este año se centrará en cuestiones de políticas y prácticas en el sector portuario mediante la combinación con una revisión del marco de la política europea de puertos.

ESPO ha demostrado que el rendimiento de los puertos es un concepto compuesto de muchos aspectos y puede relacionarse con las operaciones portuarias y de logística, tendencias y estructura del mercado, el medio ambiente y la integración social, socio-económica y la gobernanza . La asociación señaló que un coordinador del proyecto PPrism (Puerto de Indicadores de Desempeño - Selección y valoración), que es co-financiado por la Unión Europea. En una conferencia en Limassol, los socios del proyecto se presentarán los avances de PPrism y muestran el desarrollo de un sistema europeo de evaluación del desempeño de los puertos.

El segundo tema de la conferencia es el resultado de la decisión de la Comisión Europea a considerar este año el marco de política para los puertos. Este examen abarcará el desarrollo y financiación de concesiones de infraestructuras, el acceso al mercado de los servicios portuarios, la modernización, el trabajo portuario y muchos otros temas.
