The Croatian shipyard Brodosplit has forfeited an order of Jumbo Shipping Company for the construction of a ship for transporting cargo that will be the largest fleet of the Dutch shipping company.
The new ship, to be built in class Lloyd's Register, will be completed in the first half of 2013. The unit will be 152 meters long, 27 meters wide, will have a speed of 17 knots and is equipped with two lifting of the unit capacity of 1,100 tons.
The heavy-lift vessels - said the company Brodosplit shipbuilding - are sophisticated vessels that are not built in Croatian shipyards, and this is a market that represents a strategic target for Brodosplit.
