Costa Cruises in the coming days will resume cruises in Japan. From 26th August to October, in fact, the Costa Classica will depart from Shanghai to direct a series of 12 cruises in Japan, with destinations in Fukuoka, Nagasaki and Kagoshima, and South Korea in particular, the program provides four-day cruises Fukuoka and Cheju (South Korea), a cruise of six days in Pusan (South Korea), Fukuoka, Kagoshima, a cruise of five days in Fukuoka, Nagasaki, Cheju.
The company said that with this decision, Costa confirms the confidence in the Japanese tourism market and its support to help the recovery of tourism in the Rising Sun. The Company also noted that the Costa Classica cruise in Japan are especially valued by the company's Chinese customers. Having been the first company worldwide to operate in China, Costa Cruises has over five years in the cruise from China to Japan.
In 2012 Costa Cruises will continue to expand its presence in Asia and the Far East with the positioning, for the first time, the Costa Victoria (75,200 gross tons and 2,394 passengers) that will replace Costa Classica (53,000 grt and 1,680 passengers). With the arrival of the ship, next year the offering of the company in the Far East will grow by about 40%.
In 2012, the Costa Victoria will propose in his itinerary a wide range of new destinations in Japan: the tropical paradise of Hososhima / Miyazaki, Wakayama Prefecture, which boasts the biggest spa hot Osaka, Japan's second largest city, the most famous tourist resorts of Kanto region, the capital Tokyo and Yokohama.
