Yesterday to the hall of the terminal you ferry of the port of Livorno are rewarded the realized better work from the students of tens of schools for the competition "Tells your port", that it has been organized inside Opened Port, the project of opening of the port to the intentional city from the Harbour Authority Leighorn and which reached by now its fifth edition. The project Open Port has afforded for all 2011 and 2012 to 2.500 boys to visit the Tuscan port. Also this year Open Port has been concluded in contemporary with the European Day of the Sea (18 May), celebrated from the EU commission in order to promote the coastal regions and in order to make to take to conscience to all the citizens of the role key of the sea, in the future development of the European Union.

The regatta, sponsored from the Harbour office of Livorno, is organized from the Livorno Yacht club with the contribution of various subjects, between which: Harbour authority, Port of Livorno 2000, Body Pilots of Livorno, Azimut, Pharmanutra/Celadrin and Hotel Grand duke. From on 26 May, connected to the event of the Yacht club of Livorno, a series of events will be organized legacies to the topics of the marine culture.
