Spezia is the only port partner of the project, that it is coordinated by Federica Montaresi, in charge of the Office Studies and Special Projects of the Harbour Authority, in collaboration with Davide Vetrala and Lorenzo De Conca, responsibles of the Ambient Service and Safety and the Administrative Area of the agency. In from Liguria city representatives of Germany are convene, Austria, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Hungary and Slovakia. The partnership sees the ministry of the Economy of the Region of the Sassonia - Anhalt which represented front man and of it take part various partner from associations of the chemical industry, intermodal Chambers of Commerce, Regions, university, operators and the Ministry of Transportation German. For Italy, besides the port of, they take part of the partnership also the Province of Novara which main site of the chemical industry, the foundation TOP and Circle.

The Chemlog project Tracking and Tracing, financed in the within of the program of cooperation Central Europe that involves the countries of the European area center-oriental, has the scope to favor the promotion of the intelligent use of the solutions INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY in order to return the intermodal transport of the goods and the development of the territorial cooperation between various regions of the area of Europe more efficient center-oriental, to increase the competitiveness of the chemical industry facilitating the passage from the road to the train to the aim to reduce the injurious emissions, to improve safety in the dangerous transport of the goods via train through the employment of solutions in the field of tracking, to support the realization of the corridors TRIES of specific interest for the connections of the port of with Europe center-oriental, favoring the harmonization of the norms, the regulations and the procedures long the logistic chain.
