Saturday to Venice will become operating the new terminal of the Freeways of the Sea of Fusina (Marghera)



Next saturday to Venice, with the landing place of the ship ro-pax Audacity of Anek Lines, will become operating the new hi-tech terminal of Fusina (Marghera) entirely dedicated to the Freeways of the Sea. The project is realized in project financing with an investment of 230 million euros, of which deep 70% from private, and it is supported by the Authority Harbour of Venice and co-financed from the European Union with 10 million euros thanks to the Adriamos project (program IT TRY) with the objective to upgrade the Freeways of the Sea between Italy and Greece.
The new harbour structure is planned and construct by the pool of enterprises Venice Ro-Port Mos that, after to have cleared the industrial area dismessa former Alumix, now begins also the management of the terminal, all the connected services and the pieces of real estate thanks to a concession of Harbour Authority of the duration 40-year-old.

New the hub intermodal of Marghera Port is constituted by two docks with four able docks at the same time to accommodate four ships and an equipped logistic platform of new manufactured and harbour warehouses, large squares and parkings for a total area of 36 hectares. The next docks the Malamocco-Marghera channel have a depth of the backdrops until -12 meters. Inside of the compendium they will be developed destined to harbour activities and of service to storage and handlings goods, which services of commercial and logistic type will join.
