Last year the revenues of Bureau Veritas have exceeded for the first time quota four billions of euro



In the 2014 society of classification and certification Bureau Veritas (BV) it has established the own new record of the turnover having had recorded revenues for 4,17 billion euros, with an increment of +6.1% regarding 3,93 billion euros in the exercise anniversary precedence.

Parallel we have launch new initiatives in order to accelerate the increase and to improve our position in markets key".

Bureau Veritas has closed exercise 2014 with a profit clearly of 307,5 million euros, down of the -13,7% regarding the year precedence. The clearly rectified profit has been pairs to 391,3 million euros (- 1.4%). The operating profit is piled to 563,1 million euros (- 4.5%) and the rectified operating profit to 694,0 million euros (+5.6%).

The increase recorded last year from the volume of transactions and the rectified operating result, that it is defined by the operating result of the group before the proceeds and the relative burdens to the acquisitions and the not recurrent voices, is produced in the second half of 2014, period that has been archived item with revenues for 2,20 billion euros, an increase of +11.6% on the second half of the year of 2013, and with a rectified operating profit of 384,0 million euros (+11.7%).

The single Offshore division Marine & of the French group, than takes care mainly of the activities and services in the segment of the classification and certification in naval field and for the offshore industry, have closed entire exercise 2014 with revenues pairs to 323,8 million euros (+10.1%) and a rectified operating profit of 81,0 million euros (+3.6%).

This Bureau Veritas year previews to record an ulterior increase: "in the 2015 - Michaud-Daniel has explained - group a light improvement of the organic increase regarding budget 2014 attends, taking into consideration the current conditions of the oil market. Also the operating margin would have light to improve thanks to the initiatives of operating excellence in course. The group will continue to generate consisting cash flow. To the increase - it has specified the general manager of BV - acquisitions in interesting markets will contribute".
