In the first quadrimestre of the 2016 traffic of the goods in the harbour system of Civitavecchia, Fiumicino and Gaeta have grown of +5%



In the first quadrimestre of the 2016 traffic of the goods enlivened from the harbour system of Civitavecchia, Fiumicino and Gaeta have been of beyond 5,4 million tons, with an increment of +5%, regarding the January-April period of 2015. The increase is mainly determined by the traffic of the goods sand banks that have been pairs to 3,6 million tons (+7%), while the goods liquid is increased of +1% 1,8 million to tons. The single harbour port of call of Civitavecchia has recorded an increment of +4%.

Altogether between the goods sand banks they have turned out in increase of +11% the solid bulk, that they have totaled 2,1 million tons, and of +3% the goods several in necks, climbs than more 1,5 million tons. Between the sun solid bulk they have shown an increase coal (+4%), chemicals (+37%), produced metalworkers (+43%), the crude ores, concretes and soccers (+210%) and other solid bulk (+15%). Between the sun goods several in necks they are increased of +8% the goods in containers and of +3% the rotabili.

In the single port of Civitavecchia an increase of +36% of the goods liquid and +2% of the goods is recorded sand banks. Between these last ones the solid bulk and +4% the goods in necks, the first pairs to 1,8 million second tons and to the 1,5 million one tons is increased of +1% several. Between the solid bulk, stable the coal, in increase of +38% the produced metalworkers, in controtendenza regarding biennium 2014/15. Between the goods several in necks, they have marked a +8% the goods in container, a +3% the several rotabili and a +26% the other goods. In the single segment of the container, handling of the containers in terms of box from 20 ' (teu) is increased of +3%, with a supported increment (+7%) of the container full. Handling of motor vehicles has shown a progression of +33% due essentially to the traffic of new motors vehicle (+115%), with 82.431 cars enlivened in the port of Civitavecchia against the 38,349 of the first quadrimestre of 2015.

In the field of the passengers, the traffic of the ferries has marked an increase of +13%, while the crocieristico traffic is diminished of -9%. This last however - it has specified the Harbour Authority of Civitavecchia - already month of April it has made to record a resumption of +7% regarding last year and the forecast for 2016 remains positive, with an increase of passengers estimated around +2%.
