Helvetic group ABB will supply the complete package of feeding and propulsion electrical worker for the new fleet of Virgin Voyages, company constituted from the Virgin group in order to enter in the field of the cruises that will become operating in 2020 when it will take in delivery before three ships ordered to the Fincantieri(on December 5, 2014 and 24 june 2015).
Each of the ships from 110.000 tons of tonnage, that 278 meters will be long, wide 38 and they will be able to accommodate ognuna beyond 2.700 passengers and 1,150 members of the crew, will be equipped of the Azipod propulsion of ABB, an adjustable system to 360 degrees in which the electric motor it is placed in a pod submergeeed under the hull.
