In the ports of Naples and Salerno the container and the crocieristi grow



In the first semester of the 2018 traffic of the container enlivened from the port of Naples it has been pairs to 267.041 teu, with an increment of +4.8% on the first half last year, while the traffic in the port of Salerno is piled to 232.525 teu (+6.1%), for a total of 499.566 teu (+5.4%) enlivened from the two ports of call administered from the Authority of Harbour System of the Tyrrhenian Sea Central.

In the port of totaled full Naples the container in the first half of the 2018 has been 201,534 (- 0.3%) and those empty 65,507 (+24.2%), while in the port of Salerno the full loads have been 177,910 (+9.1%) and empty the 54,615 (- 2.7%).

In terms of tons enlivened, in the first six months of this year the total containerized trade in the two harbour ports of call has been pairs to beyond 5,6 million tons (+1.2%), of which 2,7 million tons enlivened to Naples (- 0.1%) and 2,9 million tons to Salerno (+2.6%).

If the traffic of the container has turned out totally in increase, the rotabili cargos have instead marked a bending being itself attested than more 6,6 million to tons (- 9.5%), of which 2,6 million tons enlivened in the port of Naples (- 8.7%) and 4,0 million tons to Salerno (- 10.0%).

In the port of Naples, moreover, tons of liquid bulk (+5.3% are enlivened 2,7 million), of which 1,8 million producing tons of oil refined (+1.7%), 572 thousand oil tons of producing gaseous, which liquified or compressed and natural gas (+2.7%) and 260 thousand tons of other cargos liquids (+51.7%). In the port of Salerno the traffic of the solid bulk has been pairs to 117 thousand tons (+44.6%).

In the first six months of this year the crocieristico traffic in the two ports of call has been of 428.820 passengers (+17.8%), of which 393,677 to Naples (+16.7%) and 35,143 in the port of Salerno (+32.3%). Relatively to the traffic of the passengers of the regular lines, the total has been of beyond 3,1 million people (- 1.3%) of which 2,9 million to Naples (- 2.2%) and 285 thousand to Salerno (+8.7%).
