The segment of the cruises hauls the increase of the economic results of the Global Turk Ports

In 2018 the group EBITDA has turned out pairs to 465,0 million Turkish Liras (+67.0%), of which 402,7 million from harbour field (+46.6%) with a contribution expressed in dollars of 53,1 million dollars from the segment cruises (48,3 million in 2017) and of 37,6 million dollars from the commercial segment (32,2 million in 2017). GIH has archived item 2018 with an operating profit of 204,4 million Turkish Liras, respect to a sign result negative for -200,4 million in 2017, and with a net loss of -89,9 million Turkish Liras respect to a net loss of -329,2 million in the exercise anniversary precedence.

Last year the harbour terminals that take part of the perimeter of consolidation of the Turkish group have enlivened a crocieristico traffic of 4,4 million passengers regarding 4,1 million in 2017. Included the terminals in which GPH it stops a participation, the enlivened crocieristico traffic in 2018 turns out of 8,4 million passengers regarding 7,0 million in the year precedence.

In the course of 2018 and at the beginning of this Global year Holding Ports own crocieristica activity has widening ulteriorly adjudicating the management for 20 fleeting years of the traffic in the Croatian port of Zara(on 19 March 2018), obtaining the management of the crocieristico traffic in the Cuban port de the Havana for a duration 15-year-old(on 22 May 2018), investing in the platform of reservations on-line Dreamlines(on 7 June 2018), extending until the 2067 duration of the contract for the management of the Turkish port cruises of Bodrum(on 31 December 2018), signing a contract of concession of the duration 30-year-old for the management of the crocieristiche activities in the port of Antigua(on 1° February 2019) and signing a contract of concession of the duration 25-year-old for the management of the crocieristico port of Nassau, in Bahamas(on 25 February 2019).

In the 2018 enlivened commercial traffic from the harbour terminals of the Turkish group it has recorded instead a decrease: the containerized trade has been pairs to 237 thousand teu, with a bending of the -5,1% on 2017), and the other types of goods have totaled almost 1,5 million tons of cargos (- 9.3%).
