Today to Shipping Rome the Italian Confederation (Confitarma) has accommodated first of a series of programmed seminaries from the European Community Shipowners' Associations (ECSA), in collaboration with EU commission (DG MOVES), with the scope to stimulate confronts between stakeholder the private publics and, to identify the criticalities and to facilitate the gradual performance of Regolamento of the European Parliament and the Council that institutes a system of European only interface marine to the aim to fix norms harmonized between the Member States in order to conform the demanded information in order to scale the European ports, norm whose iter legislative recently it has been concluded(on 19 April 2019). The effectiveness of Regolamento is fixed for the next month and the maturity date for its implementation is established for July 2025.

Sandro Santamato, head unit of the DG MOVES, responsible transports marine, has illustrated the new Regulations evidencing that, in order to guarantee the competitiveness and the efficiency of the field of the European marine transport, the reduction of the administrative burdens at the expense of the ships and the facilitation of the use of digital information they are by now unavoidable factors for being able to improve the efficiency, the attraction and the environmental sustainability of the marine transport and to contribute to integration of the field in the logistic chain multimodale digital.

Laurence Martin, foreman International relations of Confitarma, has coordinated the next participations and, as president of the Shipping Policy Committee ECSA, the appreciation of the European marine industry for the adoption of Regolamento has restated that is determined to improve the efficiency of the marine transports, to favor the digitalisation and to facilitate the commerce, wishing that it is the Commission is the Member States respect this ambitious project that could carry to a true only market of marine navigation without administrative burdens.
