
Last month, container traffic at the Port of Long Beach
amounted to 818 thousand TEUs, down -5.7% on April
2025, of which 390 thousand TEUs full at landing (-7.1%), 119 thousand TEUs
full at boarding (+26.7%) and 309 thousand empty TEUs (-12.6%).
In Asia, containerized traffic in the port of
Singapore amounted to 3.8 million TEUs (+3.6%) and the
in the port of Hong Kong to almost 1.1 million TEUs (-6.3%).
In the first four months of 2026, the Californian port of call
handled a total of 3.2 million TEUs, with a
decrease of -5.7% on the same period last year. For
Singapore: the four-month period closed with a total of 15.0
million TEUs (+5.6%) and for Hong Kong with 4.2 million TEUs
(-6,7%).
