On July 8th, Hannibal, transport operator multimodal of the Contship group, will inaugurate a new connection between the inland terminal of the Melzo group - RHM, Rail Hub Milano - and the Europoort Rotterdam terminal. The connection, intended for semi-trailers, containers and swap bodies, It will be operated as an open rail shuttle. With six weekly trains, it will be able to carry up to 38 units of loading. Departures from Italy are scheduled on the days of Monday, Wednesday and Friday from Melzo and Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday from Europoort, with a transit time of about 24 hours.
