The Port System Authority of the Tyrrhenian Seas Meridionale e Ionio has launched the tender procedure for the assignment of the works to complete the dredging of the canal port of Gioia Tauro, in the northern section of the port, in front of the Eranova quay and along its evolution basin. The intervention, worth over 2.6 million euros, is part of the Broader project to deepen the port seabed worth a total of five million euros aimed at ensure a depth of -17 meters in the affected areas, in continuity with the -18 meters already present along the Deep water canal of the container terminal of the Calabrian port.

The tender also provides for the possibility of a modification contract until increasing its value by a further 1.3 million of euros, in the event that the institution deems it necessary. The The expected duration of the contract is 60 days, starting from the signing of the report of delivery of the works.
