Shipping e sviluppo dei porti nei lavori del workshop del SIG-2 che si svolgerà a Genova dall'8 al 10 giugno prossimi
Ricercatori del mondo accademico e dell'industria marittimo-portuale presenteranno studi, progetti e risultati di ricerche, in preparazione alla conferenza triennale della WTCRS che si svolgerà a Seoul nel 2001

Dall'8 al 10 giugno prossimi si svolgerà a Genova, nelle sedi della Facoltà di Economia dell'Università (Darsena del Porto Antico), dell'Autorità Portuale (Palazzo San Giorgio) e dell'Istituto Internazionale delle Comunicazioni (Villa Piaggio), un workshop dello Special Interest Group on Maritime Transport and Ports (SIG 2) della World Conference on Transport Research Society (WTCRS), in preparazione alla conferenza triennale della WTCRS in programma a Seoul nel 2001.
L'importante workshop sarà l'occasione per i ricercatori del mondo accademico e dell'industria marittimo-portuale per presentare e discutere la situazione del settore e le iniziative in corso, come la partecipazione a progetti di ricerca internazionali e dell'Unione Europea, lo sviluppo d'iniziative per la mobilità e la formazione di docenti, lo sviluppo di un database comune, ecc.
Nel workshop genovese vi saranno interventi, relazioni e posters sulle molteplici tematiche connesse allo shipping e allo sviluppo dei porti. Nei tre giorni del workshop i massimi esperti del settore presenteranno studi, progetti e risultati di ricerche, che sono elencati nel seguente programma:
