 Nei primi tre mesi di quest'anno il porto di Le Havre ha registrato una flessione del 6,2% del traffico avendo movimentato 19,05 milioni di tonnellate di merci rispetto a 20,31 milioni di tonnellate nel primo trimestre del 2008.-
- Le merci varie sono diminuite del 21,2% a 5,72 milioni di tonnellate, di cui 5,23 milioni di tonnellate in container (-23,3%). Stabile il traffico di greggio a 8,47 milioni di tonnellate, mentre i prodotti petroliferi raffinati sono aumentati del 17,7% a 3,17 milioni di tonnellate. Nel settore delle rinfuse secche, il traffico di carbone è diminuito dell'11,5% a 683mila tonnellate.
