Taranto Port Authority announced yesterday that the Court of Auditors has acquired the resolution of the Interministerial Committee for Economic Programming (CIPE) of 18 November 2010 relating the final project for the realization of complex of works called Plate Port of Taranto, for a total of over 210 million euros.

The concession company will present the detailed design in a short time and then you give the green light to the construction site of the works. So ended a long and complex that has seen the continued commitment by all the leaders who have succeeded at the helm of the Port of Taranto since 2003, the year of first approval by the CIPE of the proposal submitted by the subject promoter. "
The port authority has indicated that the construction of the Port of Taranto plate will represent a turning point for the development of trade in the port and that the territory will draw the clear advantages of the effects that this settlement will generate.
