The Aite - Italian Association of adhering to Confetra Transports (Italian General Confederation of Transport and Logistics) announces the boarding of special transport services by September 30 if the next government will not give the answers that the industry is waiting for some time.
"It is - says the president of the association Catiello Antonio - a package of legislative amendments to simplify and streamline the complex at least in part of the authorization system loads. There are changes at no cost to the state that would bring benefits to businesses and come closer to European competitors where procedures for exceptional transport are much more slender than in our country. "
You go - the exact Aite - by lengthening the duration of authorizations, the introduction of certain terms and shorter for obtaining the permits themselves, considering that for a unique method of transport should be required permissions to all entities owners of the roads pass through (Regions, Provinces, Anas, highways, etc..). Other amendments are strictly technical in nature, are meant to give an interpretation consistent with the provisions contained in the Highway Code, such as the nature and type of goods to be transported, the tractor-trailers coupled together, the protrusion of the lateral load.
The government - remember the association - has repeatedly pledged to reform the regulation of the sector, without, however, promises to be nothing concrete below. Aite's announcement emphasizes that the detention was shared by many companies not associated with AI.
