Fires (Confapi You transport): the measures for the fight to the counterfeiting must be co-ordinate with Customs of the other States EU



Yes to more locked fight to the counterfeiting, but a timely and effective participation is necessary in order to avoid that the initiatives with such objective create a damage rather than an advantage to the Italian economy. It has found president of Confapi Trasporti, Riccardo Fuochi, participating to Rome to the presentation of the "strategic Plan for the fight to the counterfeiting" defined with the scope to ulteriorly strengthen the protection of the Made in Italy from the National Council Anticontraffazione (CNAC), active organism from the end of 2010 near the ministry of the economic Development.

The document, that it is introduced by the president of the CNAC, Daniela Mainini, and from the minister of the Economic Development, Corrado Passera, collects the priorities characterized in matter of fight to the counterfeiting from the 13 operating thematic commission in the within of the CNAC, from 150 experts and gives beyond 70 coming organisms from the entrepreneurial associative world, of the consumers, Public Administration and the police. The approach is for fields and topics and the objective is to complete a first step towards the identification of an articulate and organic distance on the actions to undertake in order to contrast the phenomenon. More in particular, the macro-priorities refer to six withins of participation: communication and information; enforcement; strengthening of the territorial garrison; formation to the enterprises; fight to the counterfeiting via Internet; protection of the Made in Italy from encroachment phenomena abroad. The respective proposals of action are riconducibili to participations of legislative, organizational and institutional type.

Thanking the direction of Customs for the carried out great job, Fires however have found as such activity is made useless by the lacked coordination with Customs the other Member States of the European Community. President of Confapi Trasporti therefore has sped up initiatives in order to resolve the problem: it is easy to understand - it has observed Fires - as the difference of the put controls in existence - rigid and effective, but only in Italy - are one of the concomitant causes of shunting lines of the traffics in entrance towards other not national ports and airports. It must therefore - it has concluded - find concrete and immediate solutions in order to organize with the other Member States a true job of team, only winning strategy for the attainment of results in the fight to the counterfeiting, that it is a more and more worrisome phenomenon.
