26 and 27 june to Gioia Tauro will hold the international conference of the World Free Zones Convention



Next 26 and 27 june to Gioia Tauro, near the center of the Municipality, will hold the international conference of the World Free Zones Convention (WFZC) of London from the title "total Connectivity with the basin of the Mediterranean", with a special emphasis on "the role of the Bonded areas in the international logistics". By the 2001 WFZC it is engaged in the development of the Bonded areas and Special Economic Zones (ZES) world-wise through an intense activity of conferences and programs of formation.

The important conference, that it is organized with the support of SIMEST, Harbour Authority of Gioia Tauro, Calabria Region and with the collaboration of Medcenter Container Terminal (group Contship Italy), will put in evidence the role of the Bonded areas and of the ZES in world-wide the economic development and relatori of international experience they will debate on as Gioia Tauro can benefit of the increment of generated logistic activity with a Bonded area - ZES.

They are attended relatori moreover international between which: Graham Mather (chairman World Free Zones Convention, London), Courtney Fingar (Editor fDi Magazine, London), Edgars Suna (director marketing of Freeport, Line, Latvia), Jamal Mikou (member of the Council of Special Agency TMSA, Tanger, Morocco) and Michel Hek (principal consultant of Ecorys, Rotterdam).

The encounter of Gioia Tauro will have mainly the scope to generate an argument forum on the development of the Bonded areas from the point of view of the production, transformation and logistics of the goods, to analyze the generabili new promotion partnership through the development of the Bonded areas and ZES which points of connection between the world-wide markets of production and those of consumption, to share with the political, industrial responsibles and of the institutions financial institutions the possibility to generate new investments and ideas of business, to increase the role of the Bonded areas and the which motor ZES of development of the exchanges and the investments between the economies ofthe world-wide basin of the Mediterranean and the other economies between which China, Asian economies, of the Gulf, India, etc and to analyze all the necessary steps for the realization of the ZES on the Italian territory and in particular in the retroportuale area of Gioia Tauro.

In the early afternoon on 27 June a guided tour to the port of Gioia Tauro will be organized.
