The WiderMos project is subdivided in three main activities that they comprise: the realization of a study finalized to the description of the future of the Freeways of the Sea in 2020 where the activities necessary will be analyzed in order to construct to the best operating connection between the marine part and the part you would hold of the priority corridors of the net IT TRY; a study on the governance of the priority corridors that will analyze four specific topics between which the customs procedures and the connections between the priority net the Cores and the Comprehensive net TRY; the realization of five technological platforms in the five ports involved in the project: La Spezia, Barcelona, Kiel, Oporto and Rostock. The project has budget total of 5,94 million euros co-financed from the EU for 2,97 million and involves four European nations - Italy, Germany, Spain and Portugal - and important European actors and stakeholder of the field of the transports, the logistics and the shipping between which Agency of Customs, Fiscal Agencia (Spain), Liguria Region, Unige, MSC, Ikea, RFI, LSCT, Interporto of Padua.
