- Il 28 e 29 ottobre prossimi alla Spezia, presso l'Auditorium del Porto, si terrà la conferenza finale di WiderMoS (Wide Interoperability and new Governance moDels for freight Exchange linking Regions through Multimodal maritime based cOrridorS), progetto europeo di cui l'Autorità Portuale della Spezia è capofila e che dal punto di vista strettamente operativo , promuovendo l'intermodalità e l'interoperabilità, semplificando le procedure di controllo alla merce al fine di rendere più efficienti i processi logistici. Il progetto vede la partecipazione di quattro Stati UE (Italia, Spagna, Germania, Portogallo), 16 partners, cinque porti (La Spezia, Rostock, Kiel, Barcellona e Porto) e più di 100 soggetti coinvolti tra partners, supporters e stakeholders tra cui, per l'Italia, IKEA, MSC e RFI.

- Al convegno “Connecting Shipping and TEN-T Core Network Corridors” prenderanno parte il coordinatore delle Autostrade del Mare, Brian Simpson, il responsabile delle politiche europee delle reti TEN-T e Autostrade del Mare, José Anselmo, insieme con esponenti nazionali del Ministero dei Trasporti, il presidente di Rete Autostrade Mediterranee, Antonio Cancian, il direttore dell'Agenzia delle Dogane, Giuseppe Peleggi, e molti altri attori e importanti key players del settore dei trasporti e dello shipping. L'incontro sarà tra l'altro l'occasione per presentare il lavoro svolto nell'ambito del progetto WiderMoS negli ultimi due anni e mezzo.
