Three groupings of enterprises have introduced offered in order to obtain the control of the Port of Livorno 2000



They are the three subjects that have introduced offered in order to acquire 66% of the capital of the Port of Livorno 2000 Srl, society that manages the traffic of the passengers in the port of Livorno and that currently it is participated to 78% and to 22% respective from the local Harbour Authorities and Chamber of Commerce.

At the end last year to the narrow procedure for the selection of the majority associate four subjects were admitted ( on 30 December 2015). Today, as soon as expired it finishes for the presentation of the plichi, the Harbour Authority of Livorno has announced that first of the three groupings that they have sent offered it is that participated to 80% from the Creuers Spanish of the Port de Barcelona, to 10% from the Italian tour operator Aloschi Bros and to 10% from marine agency Italian Adriatic Bassani that work in the crocieristico field.

According to grouping [participated to 60% from the Sinergest Olbia, the society that manages the marine station of the port of Olbia, to 25% from the Marinvest of the group Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC), to which companies MSC are under responsibility among other things Large Cruises, SNAV and the Navi Veloci, to 10% from the terminalista society livornese Livorno Marine Terminal (LTM) and to 5% from the company of Italian navigation Moby (5%).

The third grouping is constituted by the C.F.G. Cruise & Ferry Group, society controlled from the Neapolitan shipowning group Grimaldi and the crocieristica company Italian Costa Crociere of the American group Carnival and participated from the livornese group Fremura. The Harbour Authority has specified that CFG participates alone, but is supported by two enterprises auxiliaries: Grimaldi Spa Euromed of the group Grimaldi and Costa Crociere.

To the narrow procedure for the selection of the majority associate of the Port of Livorno the temporary grouping of enterprises was admitted also constituted by the Venice Venetians Passenger terminal and Venice Shipping Services and by the livornese Harbour Working Company Enterprise (CILP).

The Harbour Authority has explained that now, after to have verified the regularity of the shipment of the offers, the respect of the special general dispositions and those contained ones in the ban (or the letter of invitation) and disciplining of contest, the contracting out station, through a commission whose members will be named shortly, provvederà to open the plichi of the various offers in a sitting opened to the competitors fixed for next 19 October to hours 11.
