Saipem has adjudicated contracts for about 700 million dollars



The Saipem Italian has obtained store clerks of the total value of about 700 million dollars. The development of Blocco Stabroek will be assured by joint venture constituted by It Exploration & Production Guyana Limited, in quality of operator with a quota 45%, by Hess Guyana Exploration Limited with 30% of participation and from the CNOOC Nexen Petroleum Guyana Limited with 25%.

Al term of the preliminary phase of engineering and advance approval of the governmental authority, of the partner of joint venture and the emission of the notification to proceed with the next phases of the project, Saipem will execute detail engineering and will provision the necessary assets and services to the construction and the installation of the riser, the pipelines, the submarine structures and the jumper of connection. The contracts will include moreover the transport and the installation of the umbilical ones, of the manifold with relative foundations, let alone of the systems for the injection of water and gas.

The second phase of the development of the Liza field is characterized by a greater number of wells and submarine structures regarding the first phase contributing with a production of about 220 thousand barrels to the day.
