Raffaele Latrofa, president of the System Authority Port of the Center-North Tyrrhenian Sea, included of authority a further yardstick for the appointment of the new sole director of Port Authority Security Srl, the company in-house of the port authority responsible for carrying out services security in the ports of Civitavecchia, Fiumicino and Gaeta in implementation of security regulations. Furthermore, it is highlighted that, "compared to what happened in the new sole director was also provided with particularly stringent management guidelines, with the need to also ensure a physical presence on site constant and frequent, so as to ensure direct and frequent supervision of the company and its operations".

That some perplexity about the criteria for appointment has the same sole shareholder seems to confirm this the port authority that he is keen to make it even more explicit, almost as if trust in this way benevolently granted must be confirmed and earned, that "between the central points indicated by the Port System Authority" there are: "full compliance with the agreement between the Port Authority and the PAS; strengthening of intra-annual economic and financial control; periodic reports to the sole shareholder and the commission for the similar control; rigorous monitoring of personnel costs and of the costs for services; alignment between annual operating plan, hours scheduled and hours actually carried out; timely communication of any deviations from the objectives; preparation of the POA 2026 with prudential criteria; Analytical verification of the voice "costs for services", with possible rationalizations. Particular attention is also required to the aspects of compliance, transparency, safety at work, anti-corruption and organisational model pursuant to Legislative Decree 231/2001. The new administrator will also have to report to the sole shareholder, within a reasonable time from the establishment, on the state of economic, financial and organizational of the company, indicating any critical issues and proposals for improvement".

During the meeting, the sole shareholder AdSP also approved the 2025 financial statements of the Port Authority Security, closed at a loss. "The budget for 2025 - commented Latrofa - has a loss, covered by equity reserves, and represents a situation that I found when I arrived at the wheel of the Authority as president, which took place last November. We will certainly have to do better in the next exercise, strengthening management control and operational planning". In the document approved by the assembly, however, it is specified that PAS "does not present a crisis situation", although it operates "With very small economic margins".
