The Port System Authority of the Adriatic Sea Centrale highlighted that it had met the deadline set for the 30 June 2026 for the completion of the financed interventions by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan. The cold ironing system to provide electricity passenger and service ships of limited size shall be has also been installed in the ports of Pesaro, San Benedetto del Tronto, Pescara and Ortona, with an investment of 500 thousand euros in each stopover.

Finally, several actions were carried out with the funds of 7.7 million from the PNRR of the Ministry of Agriculture, Security food and forestry that contributed to the completion of the of the intervention on the artificial intelligence system of the Port Authority. The authority carried out extraordinary maintenance and energy efficiency of the lighting towers of the Marche dock and the area of the historic port of Ancona, with the Replacement of sodium projectors with new generation ones Led, so as to improve their effectiveness and increase the energy saving.
