
In the second quarter of 2026, the American cruise group
Royal Caribbean reported record revenue for this period
of the year, having totalled a value of 4.83 billion
dollars, with an increase of +6.5% on the same quarter
of 2025. Both the revenues generated by the sale of cruises and
those deriving from sales on board ships marked
new record values for the second quarter having stood at
to $3.34 billion (+4.5%) and $1.49 billion, respectively
(+11,1%). The growth in operating costs is more pronounced than
amounted to 2.55 billion, with an increase of +11.6% produced
by the increase in all items of expenditure. The value of the margin
gross operating income amounted to €1.84 billion (1.2%),
that of operating profit at 1.31 billion (-1.7%) and the value
of net income to $1.14 billion (-6.4%).
In the period April-June 2026, the group's ships
embarked a record number of passengers for this quarter equal to
2.40 million units (+6.4%).
Royal Caribbean has announced that currently the level of the
demand continues to be high, even if the prolonged phase of
geopolitical instability had a slight impact in the short term

remain at record values and that booking volumes are
higher than last year's levels. "Although it is still

In the first half of 2026, the group recorded revenues of

+8.8% on the first half of last year and a new record
half-yearly history. Even the revenues generated by both sales and sales
of cruises and sales on board ships marked
new absolute records having been equal to 6.36 billion (+7.1%) and
2.92 billion (+12.5%). The value of EBITDA
half-year was 3.54 billion (+8.4%), the
operating profit of €2.47 billion (+8.6%) and profit
net of $2.09 billion (+7.0%).
In the first six months of 2026, the ships of the American group
embarked a total of 4.91 million passengers (+9.2%),
a number that is the highest ever for this reason
period of the year is only lower than the all-time record of 4.95 million
of passengers in the second half of 2025.
