Assologistica places the problems of the ports of transhipment to the attention of the Giachino undersecretary



Assologistica has sent to the undersecretary to the Transports, Bartolomeo Giachino, a letter to signature of the president, the general secretary and the delegated vice president for the South with regard to the National Plan of the Logistics, with particular reference to the ports of transhipment.

"To this end we want to give action to you, on behalf of the association - law in the missive sent from president Nereo Marcucci, the general secretary Jean-François Daher and the vice president Giancarlo Russo - of the specific attention who you have placed, in the course of the auditions and the encounters in preparation of the National Plan of the Logistics, to the reasons of the increasing difficulty of the ports of transhipment and theirs lacked they take off also as "knots" of the "integrated logistics terrestrial"".

The representatives of Assologistica remember as "the various actions previewed in the National Plan represent an agenda of co-ordinate participations whose realization would help the exporting enterprises and importers offering to every harbour truth the conditions in order to play a role" and that "for the national ports that mostly have traffics of transhipment the objective shared and resumed in its essential features in the Plan are that to defend some and to consolidate of the traditional activity through stiff actions to reduce the current distortions of the competition".

"Beside this primary objective - the letter continues - the Plan offers to all the ports, comprised those of pure transhipment as Gioia Tauro, the preconditions in order to realize also activity of integrated logistics: the investments financed with the Agreement of program picture, the confirmation of the reduction of the anchor duties, the introduction of even though limited incentives to the rail shipment with the Ferrobonus, the simplification of procedures PIF, the approval of the DPCM that starts the application of the customs only door. Actions previewed in the Plan in order to throw again all the Italian ports".
