The Italian Confederation Shipping (Confitarma) has announced that 19th October the head of the Police of State, Alessandro Pansa, has signed the implementing circular of decrees of the Ministry of the Interior, n.266 (Regulations on December 28, 2012 bringing the employment of security guards on board of the mercantile ships clappers Italian flag, that they journey in international waters to risk piracy) ( on 4 April 2013).

As famous - it has specified Confitarma - such last faculty, already disciplined from I decree ministerial n.266/2012, needed for its concrete performance of the emanation of an explanatory circular by the Ministry of the Interior that of it disciplined the procedures, defining also the necessary forms and the indications for the approval of Regolamento of the Institutes of private vigilance that carry out services of protection of the mercantile ship".
