To Trieste the encounter anniversary for the implementation of the agreement on marine transports EU-China



In the next few days near the Tower of the Lloyd to Trieste the edition of the encounter will hold 14ma anniversary for the implementation of the agreement on marine transports EU-China, meeting that this year is accommodated by the Authority of Harbour System of Mare Adriatico Orientale in collaboration with the Ministry of Infrastructures and the Transports.

Signed in 2002, the agreement of EU-China field intends to improve in the interest of the economic operators of the parts the conditions in which the operations of marine transport of goods from China are carried out destined and coming. It is based on the principles of the free performance of the services of marine transport and on the principle of the not discriminatory treatment in relation to I use it of the harbour and auxiliary services. The agreement promotes moreover the cooperation between EU and China on issues of marine safety and formation of the staff.

The encounter, than is carried out alternatively in China and in the European Union every anniversary, has the scope of an opinion and exchange of information on the field and to facilitate the contacts between the operators and the marine authorities. The two present delegations to Trieste will be composed from representatives of the Chinese Ministry of the Transports, of the head office of the Transports and Mobility of the EU commission and Member States of the Union, between which Italy, as well as of the association of the Chinese shipowners and the association of the shipowners of European Community ECSA.

The program of the two days of work will be anticipated by an encounter with the summits of the Authority of Harbour System and by a visit near infrastructures of the giuliano harbour port of call.
