Last month the port of Trieste has enlivened 5,51 million tons of goods (+1.5%)



To May 2018 the traffic of the goods enlivened from the port of Trieste has grown of +1.5% going up to 5,51 million tons regarding 5,43 million tons in May last year. The cargos to the disembarkation are increased of +1.8% 4,77 million to tons, while those to the boarding are diminished of the -0,5% to 743 thousand tons. Altogether the several goods is piled to 1,62 million tons (+8.9%), of which 729 thousand tons of goods in container (+13.9%) pairs to 61.976 teu (+15.4%), 779 thousand realized with a handling of containers tons of cargos ro-ro (+2.5%) and 113 thousand several tons of other goods (+27.0%). The liquid bulk is dropped of -2,8% to the 3,75 million one tons, of which 3,61 million tons of crude oil (- 3.8%), 83 thousand refined producing tons of oil (- 17.3%), 5 thousand tons of chemicals (to +100.0%) and 51 thousand tons of other cargos liquids (+1,007, 2%). In the field of the solid bulk the total has been of 142 thousand tons (+69.3%, between which 57 thousand tons of minerals (+54.7%), 55 thousand tons of producing metalworkers (+100.0%), 15 thousand tons of cereals (- 38.9%), 11 thousand tons of carbons (- 31.0%) and 3 thousand tons of other bulk (- 40.1%).

In the first five months of this year the giuliano port has enlivened altogether 25,88 million tons, with an increase of +5.4% on the same period of 2017, of which 22,31 million tons of goods to disembarkation (+5.4%) and 3,57 million tons of goods to boarding (+5.4%). The goods several pairs altogether to 7,31 million tons (+9.1% have been), of which 3,22 million tons of containerized cargos (+16.3%) totaled with a handling of the container pairs to 280.393 teu (+14.3%) - of which 166,704 teu to the disembarkation/boarding (+16.7%) and 113,689 teu in transfer (+10.9%) -, 3,78 million tons of rotabili (+2.9%) and 315 thousand several tons of other goods (+18.7%). In rise also the liquid bulk with 17,86 million tons (+3.7%), of which 16,96 million tons of oil crude oil (+0.7%), 819 thousand producing tons of oil refined (+178.9%), 29 thousand tons of chemicals (to +6.4%) and 51 thousand tons of other liquid bulk (- 12.9%). In increase pure the solid bulk that has attested to 709 thousand tons (+12.4%), 307 thousand tons of minerals (+9.8%), 170 thousand tons of producing metalworkers (+174.4%), 142 thousand tons of carbons (- 23.3%), 72 thousand tons of cereals (- 13.1%) and 18 thousand tons of other bulk sand banks (- 16.4%). The traffic of the crocieristi has been of beyond 8 thousand fleeting (- 41.1%).
