Agreement of cooperation between the port of and the port of Casablanca



The Authority of Harbour System of the Ligurian Sea Oriental has signed a protocol of understanding with the Agence Nationale DES Ports (ANP), the agency that administer the Moroccan ports, for the start of an important project between the port of and the port of Casablanca that the implementation of a "International Fast and Secure Trade Lane" regards, that is of international a logistic corridor that will operatingly involve from part spezzina the Terminal of Gulf (TDG) of the Tarros group and from Moroccan part the Terminal of Casablanca and Tarros Maroc, the branch Moroccan of the Tarros group.

With the cooperation agreement, undersigned in recent days, AdSP and ANP engage themselves to work together and to exchange best practices on the relative procedures to the transport of the goods between EU and Morocco with a specific focus on the administrative simplification, on the digitalisation of the logistic chain, on the velocizzazione of the customs procedures and tracking of the goods. The project pilot will regard in particular the exchange given between the actors involved in the logistic corridor and the interoperability between the informative systems of the ports of La Spezia and Casablanca. This will afford to reduce the times and to improve the total efficiency of the commercial exchanges between the two ports with the scope to so realize a best practice at the level of basin of the Mediterranean in logistic the harbour field/. The technical activities of development of the action pilot will be coordinated by Federica Montaresi for the AdSP and Tarik Maaouni for ANP.
