Last year the doric port has instead established the own new historical record of containerized trade with 1,25 million tons (+10%) graces - it has explained the harbour agency - to a strongly positive dynamics for the exports that have totaled 712 thousand tons (+13%) after two consecutive years of bending, but also to the import that it has been of 540 thousand tons (+7%). In terms of enlivened containers from 20 ', in the 2019 containerized trade it has been pairs to 176.193 teu (+11%), since it represents the third best absolute result of the port of call. The authority has specified that this has happened with a reduction of the number touched of the container vessels that in 2019 has been of 354 (- 17% regarding 2018 and -23% regarding 2016), sign of the increased cargo ability of the ships that, also of greater dimensions, can approach the port of Ancona thanks to the mass in function in 2015 of dock 26 with relative work of dredging.

The AdSP has evidenced that another sign of a better rationalization of the logistic chain and management of the commercial traffic by the shipowners is the tendency to the decrease of the handling of teu empty that is come down from 27% of the precedence periods to 22% of 2019.

At last they have been more than positive also the solid and helter-skelter conventional numbers of the goods that have grown of +27% to 387 thousand tons. Between the merceologiche categories pulling ahead, there is the disembarkation of the aluminum for the requirements of the enterprises of the regional territory.

Last year the passengers journeyed in the port of Ancona have been 1,19 million, with a rise of +3%. Of the total, 1,09 million have been the passengers of the ferries, analogous data that of 2018: stable it has turned out the number of the passengers for Greece (772 thousand) and Croatia (218 thousand); in increase the number of the people who are journeyed on the director for Albania pairs to 98 thousand unit (+8%). In the 2019 passengers of the cruises +49% have been 100 thousand ().

In 2019 total of the passengers in the port of Pesaro has grown also the number, also administered it from the AdSP: they have been the 12,561 people journeyed in the port of call, with an increase of +8%, and stable it has turned out the number of the crocieristi (901 people).

As for the port of Ortona, also it in the jurisdiction of the AdSP, last year has enlivened 1,04 million tons of goods (+2%). In decided increase it is the refined oil produced ones disembarked (+10%) that disembarked cereals (+19%). The presence of the crocieristi continues also, with 971 transits in 2019.

Altogether in the 2019 entire harbour system of the Central Adriatic, that it comprises the ports of Pesaro, Falconara Marittima, Ancona, San Benedetto del Tronto, Pescara and Ortona, it has enlivened 11,8 million tons of goods so as in the year precedence and 1,20 million passengers (+3.4%).
