In the second quarter of this year, freight traffic in the port of Koper decreased by -20.1% per cent being amounted to 4.63 million tonnes of goods compared to 5.80 million tonnes in the April-June period of 2019. The Statistical Office of Slovenia said that in the port alone, containerized traffic amounted to 2.11 million tonnes, down -10.2% percent. The decline of dry bulk in the dry bulk of 1.37 million tonnes (-11.7%) has been almost analogous. More accentuated the reduction in the traffic of liquid bulk bulk, which amounted to 814mila tons (-32.0%), as well as that of the rotatable, which totaled 190mila tons (-31.0%). Drastic the reduction of other miscellaneous goods down to only 151mila tonnes (-65.0%).
