Costly Shipwrecks along the Norwegian coast

Ship owners who have not paid damages after ship wrecks have cost the State 50 million kroner over the past 10 years.
This was announced by Joakim Lystad, Director of Emergencies at the State Pollution Authority. Clean-ups over the past ten years have cost in total 120 million kroner, but ship owners have only covered 60 percent of these costs. In several ...... Read more on The Norway Post
