New agreement of Fincantieri with Chinese CSSC in order to widen their collaboration to all the segments of the mercantile shipbuilding



The navalmeccanico group Italian Fincantieri and that Chinese a new memorandum Lowers Is Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC) has undersigned of understanding in order to widen their industrial cooperation, that they have activated for a long time in the field of the construction of ships from crociara(on 4 July 2016), to all the segments of the mercantile shipbuilding. The new agreement is signed to Beijing to the presence of the minister of the Economy and finances, Giovanni Tria, of the managing director of Bank of Deposits and Loans, Fabrizio Palermo, of the managing director of Fincantieri, Giuseppe Bono, and of the chairman of CSSC, She Fan Pei.

Fincantieri has remembered that in February 2017 it has stipulated with CSSC and the crocieristico group American Carnival Corporation a binding agreement for the construction near the yard of Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding (SWS) of two cruise ships, and ulterior four as an option. Moreover in the next month of May the Italian group has signed a letter of attempts with CSSC and the district of Baoshan of the city of Shanghai for the development of the supply chain dedicated to the crocieristiche activities, but also shipbuilding and marine, and an agreement of exclusive cooperation in the within of the repairs and naval transformations with Huarun Dadong Dockyard (HRDD), between the greater specialized Chinese yards in repair and refitting, face to serve the cruise ships that have as a basis operating China(on 31 May 2017).
