"The harbour areas - it has observed the president of the Authority of Harbour System, Ugo Patroni Griffi, having explained the motivations of the adhesion to the project - can constitute the optimal fulcrum on which to implant an action plan of circular economy. All the types of waste and of industrial flows, in fact, meet in the hub logistic, in order then to be shunted in the final destinations. For such reasons the harbour clusters are the ideal places in order to estimate, to test and to start new strategies of circular economy. The project to which we have joined - has explained Patrons Griffi - more circular in the harbour field will be developed in two years of activity with the purpose to facilitate the transition towards an economy, where the produced ones, the materials and the resources are not considered refusals but they can become models of sustainable and replicable businesses in ports with similar characteristics. Regarding our truth we will be able to receive from the Network a fundamental support in the process of industrial reconversion in course, mainly, in the port of Brindisi in an optical of consolidation of the induced one of the blue economy".
