In the last trimester of the 2019 traffic of the container terminals that are under responsibility to Eurokai it is dropped of -9,1%



In the 2019 harbour terminal that is under responsibility of the German group Eurokai, than it manages them through participated the Eurogate and Contship Italy, have enlivened a traffic of the container pairs to 11,65 million teu, with a bending of the -1,3% regarding 11,80 million teu in 2019. The total last year does not include the containerized trade enlivened in the port of Gioia Tauro from the Medcenter Container Terminal (MCT) that in 2018 it had been pairs to 2,29 million teu: to April 2019, in fact, Contship Italy, that it is participated to 66.6% from Eurogate, has yielded own participation pairs to 50% in the CSM Italy-Gate, holding of the Medcenter Container Terminal, to the Itaterminaux, society integrally from the Terminal Investment Ltd. (TIL) of the shipowning group Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC), than now stops 100% of the capital of CSM Italy-Gate.

Last year the German terminals of the group, that they are managed by the Eurogate of which Eurokai possesses 50% of capital (remaining 50% is of German BLG Logistics), have enlivened 7,60 million teu (- 2.0%), of which 4,87 million teu enlivened in the port of Bremerhaven (- 10.9%), 2,09 million teu in the port of Amburgo (+27.9%) and 639 thousand teu in the port of Wilhelmshaven (- 2.5%). To the recorded bending to Bremerhaven and the increment to Amburgo it has contributed substantially the transfer from first to according to port of four services of line of shipowning consortium THE Alliance.

In the 2019 Italian terminal, that they are managed by Contship Italy, they have enlivened 1,91 million teu, with a decrease of -7,6% regarding the 2,07 million one teu in the year precedence, totals that do not include both the traffic enlivened in the port of Gioia Tauro. Last year in the port of La Spezia the La Spezia branch Container Terminal (LSCT) has enlivened 1,30 million teu (- 3.4%), in the port of Salerno the Salerno branch Container Terminal (SCT) have enlivened 372 thousand teu (+12.1%), in the port of Ravenna the filial Terminal Container Ravenna (TCR) have enlivened 181 thousand teu (0%) and in the port of Cagliari the branch Cagliari International Container Terminal (CICT) have enlivened 53 thousand teu (- 73.9%), traffic volume - this last one - that the terminalista enterprise is realized in the first semester of the 2019 concerning half year has stopped the activity.

Last year the other terminals of the German group have enlivened 2,14 million teu (+8.2%), of which 1,53 million teu enlivened in the Moroccan port of Tanger Med (+10.9%), 408 thousand teu in the Cypriot port of Limassol (+3.7%), 141 thousand teu in the portuguese port of Lisbon (+2.9%) and 62 thousand teu in the Russian port of Ust-Luga (- 9.9%).

In the last trimester of the 2019 terminal that is under responsibility to Eurokai they have enlivened altogether a containerized trade pairs to 2,73 million teu, with a reduction of -9,1% regarding the 3,00 million one teu in the period October-December of the 2018 (total that does not include the enlivened traffic to Gioia Tauro). The single German terminals have enlivened 1,75 million teu (- 12.3%), of which 1,13 million teu to Bremerhaven (- 17.3%), 476 thousand teu to Amburgo (+14.7%) and 140 thousand teu to Wilhelmshaven (- 32.6%). The Italian terminals have enlivened 458 thousand teu (- 9.7%), of which 318 thousand teu to La Spezia (- 6.8%), 98 thousand teu to Salerno (+19.0%) and 42 thousand teu to Ravenna (- 2.1%). In the fourth trimester last year the traffic to Tanger Med has been of 363 thousand teu (- 1.0%), that enlivened to Limassol of 105 thousand teu (+5.4%), the traffic to Lisbon has been pairs to 33 thousand teu (+75.9%) and that enlivened to Ust-Luga has been of 15 thousand teu (+22.7%).

In the fiscal year 2019 Eurokai has recorded revenues pairs to 260,8 million euros (- 24.2%), an operating profit of 74,0 million euros (+69.7%) and a profit clearly of 70,2 million euros (+16.1%).
