Today the Harbour Authority of Salerno has introduced to the institutions and the harbour operators the implementations realized in the within of the project Habitat that regards the monitoring of the naval traffic of the last mile and that it re-enters in the operating program national "Search and Competitiveness 2007-2013" Regions Convergence financed from the Ministry of the Instruction, University and Search followed from the Ministry of Infrastructures and the Transports. During the last year the project has seen its phase of experimentation near the harbour agency lives.
Scope of the project is the innovation of the systems of control of the harbour naval traffic, is in terms of efficiency that of safety and safeguard of the atmosphere, by means of the development of new functionalities to high technological content which for example the Blue Port Awareness, the support to navigation in proximity of the access in port, the support to the berthing, a system of simulation for training and practice of the pilots.
