On 12 April it will take to the way the public debate on the participations of transformation of the port of Livorno



Next 12 April to Livorno will be started the informative event "Debate in Port", the organized public debate from the Authority regional for the guarantee and the promotion of the participation of the Tuscany Region and demanded from the Harbour Authority of Livorno in order to introduce to the public the project of development and requalification of the Leighorn port. It will be the first institutional public debate of the Region, than of it demands the development for the great works of collective interest.

The public debate will be articulated through informative moments, visits to the port of Livorno and laboratories with events turned to all: single harbour and city operators or associates, are livornesi that of other origins. Object of the debate will be the great participations of transformation that will be realized in the port of Livorno in the next few years, that they will carry is an expansion towards the sea of the harbour area that a reorganization of the spaces and the current functions, and therefore will be centralized mainly on the Europe Platform and the Marine Station. Objective of I confront with all the interested subjects is to allow a deeper knowledge of the elements of the project and a wider sharing than observations and points of view.

The Harbour Authority has been engaged to estimate the proposals and observations that will emerge in the course of the public debate and to conclusion of the informative event will illustrate the reasons for which it will make own or less the results.

On 12 April, first day of the debate, will be articulated in two moments: from the 16,00 it will be possible to visit the Port Center, inside of the Old Fortress, where an informative point in the within of the public debate will be present. Adults and children will be able to interact with the multimedia activities that afford to the public to know the areas better object of the debate and the harbour activity. He will be able himself moreover to be gone up on the mastio of Matilde in order to see the areas from above in question, with the accompanyment of guides. From the 19,00 to the 22,00 one will carry out instead the encounter of launch of the public debate in the room of the Terminal Cruises, participatory laboratory in which you anticipate will constitute groups and be able to begin the argument on the issues that they more to heart are. A small cupboard during the work will be offered.

On 13 April, from the 15,00 to the 18,00 near the Canaviglia room in the Old Fortress, a workshop of the stakeholder will be carried out, turned the "professionals" interested to deepen the topics to debate.

The next thematic laboratories will be carried out on 5 May (on the project of the Europe Platform), on 23 May (on the project of the area of the Marine Station), on 25 May (on the effects that the projects will have on the port, the city and the territory). 25 5 day and May, by the 16,00 to the 18,30, two visits in bus in the area of the Europe Platform are previewed. In these occasions the reservation is obligatory, effettuabile on the site of the debate (www.dibattitoinporto.it). The visits will be with a restricted number. The day 23 May a visit on foot inside of fleeting the customs area and the future port will be organized (Marine Station), than it is extended from the Old Fortress until Customs of Water and Via of External Cinta, to the borders of the quarter of the Venice. In this occasion, the visits will not have a limit of participants.

During the entire period of the public debate, the Port Center will be opened all the mornings, from the tuesday to the saturday, and the afternoon of tuesday, thursday and saturday.
