Today the assembly of the Federation of the Sea, in accordance with the new
Statute approved on 19 September, proceeded to the election
of the members of the new Board for the three-year period 2024-2027 who,
according to Article 10 of the Statute, it is made up of the President,
the last past president and nine members, including at least one
member elected from among the supporting associates.
The following were unanimously elected from among the members
Members: Anton Francesco Albertoni (Confindustria Nautica), Luigi
Giannini (Federpesca), Oliviero Giannotti (Assoporti), Claudio
Graziano (Assonave), Giovanni Murano (Unem), Gaudenzio Parenti
(Ancip), Alessandro Pitto (Fedespedi), and Alessandro Santi,
(Federagenti). Among the supporting associates, he was elected
Eugenio Massolo (Italian Academy of Merchant Marine).
Following the unanimous consensus of all the associations
the assembly confirmed Mario Mattioli by acclamation
in the position of President of the Federation of the Sea for the same
three-year period 2024-2027.
The new board will meet in the coming weeks
to complete the appointments of the other corporate bodies (Vice-Presidents,
Secretary-General, Deputy Secretaries-General, Presidents and
Committee Coordinators).
