
The Port Authority of Barcelona has approved a
investment of 124 million euros to build three new berths
at the liquid bulk hub at the Moll de l'Energia in the
Catalan airport which will be mainly dedicated to cargo and
unloading of new sustainable fuels. The goal
of the intervention, for which 38 months of work are planned, is
to strengthen the role of the Port of Barcelona as an energy hub
for Southern Europe and the Mediterranean.
