
A consortium formed by the maritime-port company
Marsa Maroc and Boluda Towage France, a subsidiary of
Boluda Towage, the group's port towage company
Spanish Boluda Corporación Marítima, won the tender
for the provision of towing and maritime assistance services in the
new Moroccan port of Nador West Med. The contract will have
a duration of 20 years starting in the last quarter of next
year.
The two consortium partners plan to invest around 45
million euros to create a joint venture 51% owned by
Boluda Towage France and 49% by Marsa Maroc which will be equipped with
of a fleet of four tugs of the pulling capacity
of 80 tons.
