The Swiss Ulyssia Residences, a company founded in 2023 to design and build an ultra-luxury residential mega yacht, has signed an agreement with Meyer Yachts of the shipbuilding group German Meyer Werft for the construction of the ship, which will be 320 meters long and will contain 133 residences and 22 suites that they will be rented with fifty-year leases. Meyer Yachts will take care of all the construction phases of the new ship Ulyssia, with the start of work in the shipyard of Papenburg expected by the end of 2025 which is expected to be completed within the next four or five years.

For several years Ulyssia will be used for sailing on sea routes around the globe and, once it reaches Conclusion the operational life of the ship, could be placed in a permanent location.
