While year-on-year growth continued last month of Evergreen Marine Corporation and Wan Hai Lines (WHL), monthly turnover of the other major trading company Taiwanese containerized shipping, Yang Ming Marine Transport Corporation, recorded a decline, the first in 14 months consecutive increments. In particular, in March 2025 revenues of Yang Ming amounted to 13.2 billion Taiwanese dollars (402 million US dollars), down -14.9% on March 2024. Last month, the trend of increase in Evergreen's revenues, which amounted to 33.5 billion Taiwanese dollars (+11.3%), while those totaled by WHL, amounting to 11.8 billion, marked a sharp increase of +24.0% on March 2024.

In the first quarter of 2025, Yang Ming's revenues to 45.5 billion Taiwan dollars, with an increase by +3.9% over the same period last year. Revenues quarterly reports amounted to 110.0 billion (+24.1%) and those of the WHL to 37.1 billion (+34.3%).
