Meyer Werft has handed over to the Japanese company NYK Cruises the
new luxury cruise ship
Asuka III that has a capacity
of 744 passengers and 470 crew members. Unity, which
it is 230 meters long, 29.8 meters wide and has a gross tonnage of 52,200
tons, will join the
Asuka II which is currently
the only ship of the company.
The Asuka III, whose design combines open spaces with
traditional Japanese aesthetics, will carry out cruises with
departures from different ports in Japan calling at over 30
destinations across the nation.
