In the first quarter of 2025, the Port of Hong Kong handled container traffic of 3.39 million TEUs, volume that represents an increase of +2.1% over the same period of last year and which interrupts an ongoing negative trend consecutively for ten quarters.

The growth was generated by the increase of +9.0% recorded last February and +7.6% in March 2025 compared to the same month last year that more than offset the a drop of -7.7% marked in January.
