On the occasion of its participation from 28 February to 1 March this year in Genoa at the first international meeting organized by the Liguria Region, in collaboration with the Port Authority of Genoa, on the theme "Building the future of the cluster in the Mediterranean Motorways of the Sea "The Port Authority of Salerno announced that Ecobonus, the state subsidy to encourage drivers to choose the motorways of the sea Tir embarking on ships, has been enormously successful in Salerno, in particular the national route Salerno -Messina.
The Port Authority area has highlighted the need to introduce Ecobonus in other European countries such as Spain and France, where drivers with their vehicles and landed where it should receive the same type of contribution for the return journeys of Community Treaty.
The Port Authority of Genoa Salerno was present at the meeting as a participant in the European project "Monitoring and Operation Services for Motorways of the Sea" (MOS4MOS) for the implementation of technologies for the development of maritime trade, which is funded by European Community and dedicated transport services, short-sea shipping (short sea shipping) and commerce of sea motorways. Among the project partners, formed a consortium, includes the most important European port authorities, freight, shipping companies, rail operators, universities and major private sector companies. For Italy, as well as the Port Authority of Salerno, participants RAM Spa (Rete Autostrade Mediterranee), the Port Authority Livorno, Bologna Freight Village Spa, Interporto Toscano Amerigo Vespucci and Spa Atlantic Society of Navigation (Grimaldi Group).
