Last week to Rome the protocol of understanding for the completion of the strategic plan of the hub harbour of Civitavecchia has been undersigned, Fiumicino and Gaeta and of the system of net and the logistics. This protocol - it has emphasized today the president of the Harbour Authority of Civitavecchia, Fiumicino and Gaeta, Pasqualino Monti, having introduced the understanding - "puts in field with all the actors, everyone of which must be engaged for the realization of a great intermodal infrastructure of connection with the ports and the only regional platform of ports, that it is made by Civitavecchia, Fiumicino and Gaeta. Having put them all to the table it is clearly that the possibility is had to realize those administrative procedures in fast times, than allow to obtain the financing us and to realize all those infrastructures to service of our port and service of the cities that appear on our ports of call".

The understanding protocol, as well as from the Harbour Authority, has been undersigned from the representatives of Prime Minister's Office, of the ministries for the Territorial Cohesion, of the Economic Development, Infrastructures and the Transports, the Atmosphere, the Cultural Assets and Activities, the Region Latium, the Provinces of Rome and Viterbo, of the Municipalities of Rome, Viterbo, Civitavecchia, Fiumicino and Tarquinia, of RFI, SNAM, ANAS, ARDIS, Fincantieri, Consortium Oasis of Port and Portus Foundation ngo.

Besides the callback to the harbour town development plans of the ports of Civitavecchia and Fiumicino, with the objective to realize all the works in them previewed, by the point of view of the intermodal connections of the harbour and interportuali elements of the hub that constitute the logistic plate, are confirmed to insert between the strategic works the completion of the Civitavecchia-Orte superhighway and are established to insert in the program of strategic works also the realization of highway connection A12-A1, of connection between the airport of Fiumicino, the Rome-Civitavecchia freeway and the A1 through the riser Fiano-Saint Cesareo; the new road connection between the comprensorio of Fiumicino and the SS1 Aurelia; the improvement of the connections between the port, the city of Fiumicino and the great practicability with the project of 2 Bridge June on Fossa Trajan and with a people to move between the port and the train station of the airport.
